What you may do with the tools, how refunds work, and what a calculator can and cannot be relied on for.
SistematikWork is run by Ali Gohar, an industrial engineering student at ODTÜ, Middle East Technical University, Ankara.
Every purchase is processed through Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record. That has a practical consequence worth knowing: your payment contract for the transaction is with Gumroad, Gumroad handles any sales tax or VAT due, and Gumroad’s own terms apply to the payment. These terms govern the licence you receive and how you may use the files.
Every product is a digital file: usually a Microsoft Excel workbook, sometimes a Word document, a Notion template, a PDF or a CAD reference. Nothing is shipped. Nothing is a subscription.
You are buying a licence to use the file, not ownership of it. The copyright stays with us.
One purchase gives one person a permanent, worldwide, non exclusive licence to:
If several people at one organisation will use a tool, each of them needs a licence. If that is awkward for your team, email us and we will sort out something sensible rather than lose you over it.
The rule behind all four is simple: use the tool as much as you like, but do not become a second source for it.
Delivery is immediate and automatic. Gumroad shows a download link as soon as payment clears and emails you the same link. There is nothing to wait for and nothing to post.
If a download fails, a file will not open, or the email never arrives, write to info@sistematikwork.com and we will send it to you directly.
Fourteen days, no explanation required. If a tool is not what you expected, email info@sistematikwork.com within 14 days of purchase with your order reference and we will refund it in full.
We would rather refund you than argue. We would honestly rather hear what was wrong with the file, because that is the only way it gets fixed for the next person.
Refunds are issued through Gumroad and return to the payment method you used. Because the files are digital, we cannot stop you keeping a copy, so a refund is given on the understanding that you stop using the tool and delete it.
Consumer law normally gives you 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once the download begins, and by downloading the file you agree to immediate delivery and accept that the statutory withdrawal right no longer applies.
That is the legal position. Our own 14 day refund policy above is given voluntarily and is more generous, so in practice you can still change your mind. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of your country gives you and does not allow to be removed.
The 12 Mistakes Workbook, the IE Formula Cheat Sheet Pack and anything else we give away are covered by exactly the same licence as a paid tool, minus the payment. Use them for anything, do not redistribute them, and send people to the website rather than forwarding the file.
Taking a free download puts your email address on our list. There is an unsubscribe link in every email, and using it costs you nothing you already downloaded.
Read this one properly. It is the section that matters most in a catalogue of engineering calculators.
Every formula is checked against worked examples whose answers are established before the file is built. We take that seriously, and if you find a formula you believe is wrong we will either correct it and send you the new file or show you our working.
Even so, these tools are provided as they are. They are calculation aids, not engineering advice, financial advice or a professional opinion, and they are not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified engineer who knows your situation.
You are responsible for checking that a tool fits your problem, that your inputs are correct, and that the result makes sense, before anyone acts on it. That matters most where a wrong number could affect safety, a regulatory submission, a certification, a capital decision or anything else where being wrong is expensive. A spreadsheet does not know what it does not know, and neither of us should pretend otherwise.
We give no guarantee that a tool is fit for any particular purpose, that it will be free of errors, or that it matches the standards or practices used in your industry or country.
The manufacturing process finder on this site is a free reference tool. It shows the typical way a part is made. Many parts can be produced by more than one process depending on volume, material, size and design, so the result is the common route, not the only one and not a definitive specification. It is a guide for comparison and learning, not engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified manufacturing engineer or a supplier’s process sheet. Confirm the process, tolerances and costs for your own design before you rely on them, quote from them or commit a part. If you believe a route is wrong, use the report link in the finder or email info@sistematikwork.com, and we will look into it.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with a product or this website is limited to the amount you paid for that product. For free downloads, that amount is nothing.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profit, lost contracts, lost data, wasted time, or the cost of a decision taken on the strength of a calculation.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not permit to be limited.
The blog is open to outside authors. If you contribute:
Contributing is unpaid. What you get is a byline, a link wherever you want it pointed, editing help and a certificate.
Certificates of appreciation are issued to guest authors and carry an ID that anyone can check at sistematikwork.com/verify.
A certificate confirms one thing: that the named person wrote the named article, which we published on the stated date. It is not a qualification, an accreditation, an endorsement of competence or a credential recognised by any institution, and it should not be presented as one. We may withdraw a certificate if the work turns out to be plagiarised or misrepresented.
Use the site normally and we will never have a problem. Do not attempt to break into it, overload it, scrape it wholesale, or use it to distribute anything unlawful. We may block access if you do.
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or that every page is current.
The SistematikWork name, logo, the design of the website, and the tools and written content on it are ours, except for guest articles, which belong to their authors. Buying a tool does not transfer any of that.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. The terms that applied on the day you bought something govern that purchase, so a later change cannot take away a licence you already paid for.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a claim there where your local law gives you that right.
