This policy covers sistematikwork.com and the SistematikWork store on Gumroad. It is written in plain language on purpose: you should be able to read it in a few minutes and know exactly what happens to your information.

1Who we are

SistematikWork is a one person business run by Ali Gohar, an industrial engineering student at ODTÜ, Middle East Technical University, Ankara. It sells Excel calculators, Word and Notion templates and CAD references for industrial engineering.

For anything in this policy, write to info@sistematikwork.com. There is no support queue. One person reads it.

2The short version

We collect your email address, and almost nothing else. We ask for it when you download something free or buy something. That is the whole of it.

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies of its own, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. We never see your card details, because payments are handled entirely by Gumroad. You can be removed from everything by sending one email.

3What we collect, and when

WhenWhat we receiveWhy
You sign up for a free downloadYour email address, and your name if you give oneTo send the file and the short email series that follows it
You buy a toolFrom Gumroad: your email, your name if given, which product, the order reference and the country Gumroad recordedTo deliver the product and answer questions about it
You email usWhatever you write, and your email addressTo reply
You write for the blogYour name, your field or institution, any link you ask us to publishTo publish your article with a byline and issue your certificate

When Gumroad notifies our website of a sale, that notification is written to a log file on our hosting. It holds the same purchase details, including your email address. The file is stored outside the public area of the server, where the web cannot reach it, and it is overwritten as it fills.

If you contribute to the blog, your name, your stated field and your article are published on the site, and your name appears on the certificate verification page. That is the point of the certificate, and it is the only information we publish about anyone.

4What we do not collect

This is a static website. It has no database, no login, no shopping basket and no server side code other than the one small file that passes purchase notifications to our email provider.

  • No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, nothing. We do not know which pages you visited.
  • No advertising or tracking. We run no ads, build no profiles, and share nothing with ad networks. We have never sold data and will not.
  • No payment details. Card numbers never touch this site or our hosting. Gumroad takes payment and is the seller of record for every order.
  • Nothing from the contact form. The form on our contact page sends nothing anywhere. It opens your own email application with the message filled in, so you stay in control of it until you press send.
  • Nothing from the manufacturing finder. The process finder runs entirely in your browser. We receive nothing about what you search, and the ‘report this part’ link, like the contact form, only opens your own email application with the details filled in, so nothing is sent until you press send.

5Cookies and Google Fonts

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

One thing worth telling you plainly: our pages use two typefaces served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google when a page loads. Google therefore receives your IP address and the usual information a web request carries. We receive nothing from this and have no agreement with Google about it. If you would rather it did not happen, a content blocker that blocks fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com stops it, and the site still works.

Our email provider, MailerLite, places a small invisible image in emails that records when a message is opened and which links are clicked. If you do not want that, most email apps can block remote images, or you can unsubscribe.

6Who else handles your data

We use four outside services. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what it does with your information.

ServiceWhat it doesWhat it holds
GumroadTakes payment and delivers files. Seller of record for every order.Payment details, your email, order history
MailerLiteStores our email list and sends our emailsYour email, your name if given, your opens and clicks
HostingerHosts the website and the purchase notification logServer logs, and the notification log above
Google FontsServes two typefaces to your browserYour IP address, at the moment a page loads

7Where your data is held

Our hosting is provided by Hostinger. MailerLite and Gumroad are based outside Pakistan and Turkey and store data on servers in the European Union and the United States. If you are in the UK, the EU or the EEA, this means your information may be transferred outside your country. Those providers rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards for those transfers, as described in their own policies.

8How long we keep it

  • Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send.
  • The purchase notification log is overwritten automatically as new entries arrive. It is a short rolling record, not an archive.
  • Purchase records are held by Gumroad under its own policy and for as long as tax rules require.
  • Emails you send us are kept in our mailbox until they are no longer needed.
  • Published articles and certificates remain on the site unless the author asks for removal.

9Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will not ask you why.

  • See what we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it. We remove you from the email list and delete what we hold. Records Gumroad must keep for tax are outside our control, and we will tell you so rather than pretend otherwise.
  • Take it elsewhere, as a copy in a readable format.
  • Object to marketing, which you can also do yourself with the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

Write to info@sistematikwork.com. We answer within 30 days and usually much sooner. If you are in the UK or the EU and unhappy with how we handled a request, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

10Why we are allowed to hold it

For readers in the UK and the EU, these are the legal bases we rely on.

  • Consent, for marketing emails. You gave it by asking for a free download, and you can take it back any time.
  • Performance of a contract, for delivering a product you bought and answering questions about it.
  • Legitimate interests, for keeping the site secure, preventing fraudulent orders and keeping basic business records.

11Children

These are professional and university level tools. The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

12Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The purchase notification log is stored outside the public area of the server. Access to the email list and the store is protected by passwords held by one person.

We will not claim more than that. This is a small operation on shared hosting, and no system is immune. We keep as little information as the business can run on, which is the most effective protection available to us. If something ever did go wrong in a way that put you at risk, we would tell you.

13Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced by email to anyone on the list.
